Fieldwork
The School has a commitment to subsidise all compulsory field courses. We do not charge students for travel and accommodation on compulsory taught field courses run by the school. Where accommodation on courses is organised with breakfast and evening meals included, students will be asked to contribute to these costs (£10 a day would be a guide price).
Why do fieldwork?
Field work forms an integral part of all our courses in geological and environmental sciences, allowing integration of the skills learnt from lectures and laboratory classes. Read more...
