I feel proud that (the course) has taught me almost everything I need for my new job.
The destination of our graduates is diverse; many go on to study at postgraduate level taking Masters or PhDs, whilst others gain employment immediately after graduation. We have excellent relationships with a great number of employers in many aspects of the Earth, Environmental and Atmospheric Sciences and over the past 2 years we have been actively targeted for recruitment by multinationals. Graduates from the school are in demand from a variety of companies that value skills such as teamwork, problem solving, report writing, computer literacy and independence.
The school is committed to supporting the development of undergraduate students through the 'Open Door' policy and a tutorial system in which students have a variety of Academic Tutors, but keep the same Personal Tutor throughout their academic career.
