Dr Henner Busemann
- Henner was a volunteer a the Meteorites and Moon rock event at the Manchester Science Festival on 28th October 2011

- Given interviews with international media (e.g., ABC, BBC, National Geographic) based on press releases from the Carnegie Institution of Washington, Science, the Royal Society and the University of Manchester
- Henner gave a lecture on “The Stardust sample return mission from comet Wild 2 and Interplanetary Dust Particles – Comets in the Laboratory” to Bolton Astronomical Society in October 2009

Jenny Claydon

- Jenny gave a talk to GCSE students at Robert Smyth Academy, Market Harborough, Leics on Meteorites and the Early Solar System in September 2011
- Dr Ashley King and Jenny Claydon helped Professor Jamie Gilmour with a Moon watch event at Jodrell bank in August 2010.
- Jenny is a registered contributor to the Future Morph project “Hidden Science” funded by the Science Council. This is a website and mobile phone app that encourages children to ask questions about science which are then answered by people working in science and industry.
- Jenny is a contributor to the group Earth and Solar System blog.
Dr John Cowpe
- John is a STEM ambassador
- John was a volunteer at the Meet the ... Cosmochemists event which is part of the Meet the Scientist series of events held at the Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester on 5th November 2011.
John has made several visits to schools, colleges and the Museum of Science and Industry when at Salford University focussing on renewable energy: solar power, hydrogen storage, and wind farms.

- Sarah was invited to give a talk on Genesis – The Search for Origins to amateur astronomy enthusiasts at Salford Astronomical Society in April 2011.
- Sarah was invited to give a talk on Genesis - The Search for Origins to year 11 and 6th form pupils at Loreto Grammar School in April 2011.
- Sarah was invited to give a talk on Genesis – The Search for Origins to 6th form pupils from Manchester Grammar School, Manchester High School for Girls and Withington High School for Girls as part of the MGS Phil Soc in March 2011.
- Sarah was a volunteer at the Manchester Science Festival in October 2010. She was involved in welcoming visitors to the Museum of Science and Industry, and Science Busking in The Triangle.
- Sarah was a CREST project judge at Loreto Grammar School, Altrincham in July 2010, judging poster and drama presentations made by Year 9 pupils for their CREST projects.
- Sarah was an “Expert Guide” at the Big Bang Fair, G-Mex, Manchester on 13th March 2010 when the fair was open to members of the public.
- Sarah was interviewed by telephone on 12th March 2009 regarding the press release about the new rolling grant. This was broadcast as soundbites in news reports on 13th March by BBC Radio Manchester.
- As a STEMNET Ambassador Sarah ran a 40 minute workshop on meteorite craters for year 9 pupils which was repeated four times through morning. The Chemistry, The Next Generation event was organised by Lancashire Education Business Partnership and held at the University of Manchester on 24th June 2009.
- As a Researcher in Residence, Sarah went into Loreto Grammar School, Altrincham during the 2008/2009 academic year. She attended the school Science Day, and was involved with a several projects including making Mars Landers (year 10) and Maths problems (year 7).
- Sarah, Professor Jamie Gilmour and Grant Allan ran the Mission Possible Day School on 27th May 2009 as part of the University of Manchester’s Courses for the Public
- Sarah was a STEMNET Ambassador at a Science Speed Dating even for Year 9 students in 2009.
- Sarah was invited to give a talk to 6th form students about her research and job and also helped out with hands-on experiments at the RSC Not All Chemists Wear White Coats event on 7th February 2009 at the Museum of Science and Industry.
- Dr Ian Lyon and Sarah were interviewed live on air about the Stardust project by BBC Radio Manchester on 11th February 2008.
- An article about the Stardust project, based on the University of Manchester Press Release, with photo of Sarah was published in the Manchester Evening News on 8th February 2008.

- Sarah wrote an article for the Corpus Lives column in Pelican News, the newsletter for alumni of Corpus Christi College, Oxford in September 2007. Sarah wrote an article about what she is doing and the importance of the Stardust project.
- Dr Alli Busfield and Sarah ran the Investigation the Solar System Day School, in January 2007. The Day School was one of the University of Manchester’s Courses for the Public.
- Dr Torsten Henkel and Sarah were invited to give a talk on Stardust - Surprising results from the first comet sample return mission, to amateur astronomy enthusiasts at Salford Astronomical Society in January 2007.
- Sarah was interviewed by telephone and quoted in the article written in the Manchester Evening News on 20th January 2006 about the return of Stardust to Earth, and the role the Isotope Geochemistry & Cosmochemistry group will play in analysing samples.
- BBC Radio Manchester, January 2006. Dr Torsten Henkel and Sarah were interviewed live on air about Stardust just a few days after the capsule returned to earth. An article was then published on the BBC Manchester website about what was said.

- MGS Phil Soc, October 2006. Exploring the Early Solar System. Sarah was invited to give a talk to 6th form pupils from Manchester Grammar School, Manchester High School for Girls and Withington High School for Girls.
