With a large complement of academic staff incorporating a wide range of experience and expertise, our School of Earth, Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences (SEAES) is uniquely placed to offer you a broad spectrum of research and taught postgraduate degree programmes, and to provide authoritative teaching or supervision across a breadth of subjects.

Our thriving community of research students, from the UK and overseas, work on a huge range of topics – some of their own or their sponsors’ choosing, and some on research topics proposed by our School each year. Our taught MSc courses also attract students globally, thanks to their strong international reputations as world-leading courses.
